What's coming next after V1?

Our roadmap includes an invoicing suite with payment tracking and reminders, then fuller accounting with bank reconciliation, assets, depreciation and payroll, and later an AI tax bot for filing assistance and compliance. We do not commit to public dates, so please treat these as direction rather than a schedule.

How does AI receipt scanning work?

Simply snap a photo of your receipt using your phone camera. Our AI uses OCR (Optical Character Recognition) trained on Indonesian receipts to automatically extract merchant name, date, amount, and tax. The AI also suggests a category based on the merchant type. You can review and edit everything before saving. The entire process takes under 15 seconds!

Can I add expenses manually without AI?

Absolutely! You get unlimited manual entries even on the free plan. AI scanning is optional - you're always in control. Just tap "Add Expense" and enter the details yourself.

Yes! AkunIndo supports multi-document capture. You can attach multiple receipts, invoices, bank transfers, or screenshots to a single expense. Perfect for complex transactions that have multiple proof documents.

How does the status workflow work?

Every expense moves through 3 stages: Draft (just captured) → Completed (reviewed and verified, still editable) → Exported (included in an export). Only Exported expenses are locked and can no longer be edited or deleted.

Can I share receipts from WhatsApp or other apps?

Yes! AkunIndo integrates with native mobile sharing. Got a receipt in WhatsApp, Telegram, email, or your gallery? Just tap "Share" and select AkunIndo. The app will open automatically with the image ready to process.

Can I track which payment method was used?

Yes! You set up your own payment methods and assign one to each expense. There are three types: Cash, Bank Account, and E-Wallet (GoPay, OVO, DANA). Cards are set up as a Bank Account (for example 'BCA Credit Card'). This helps you reconcile with your actual accounts.

Absolutely! You can export to Excel (XLSX) or CSV format anytime. The export includes all transaction details, categories, payment methods, and you can choose to include all receipt images in a complete archive. Perfect for sharing with your accountant.

Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?

Absolutely! You can upgrade your plan anytime and the change takes effect immediately. If you downgrade, the change applies at the end of your current billing cycle. Your data is always preserved regardless of plan changes.

How do I pay for a subscription?

Subscriptions are purchased inside the app through the App Store or Google Play, using whatever payment method your store account supports. On Google Play in Indonesia that typically includes e-wallets (GoPay, OVO, DANA), cards, and bank transfer.

AkunIndo requires an internet connection for all features, including manual expense entry and AI receipt scanning. There is currently no offline mode.

How does team collaboration work?

With the Basic plan, you can add up to 3 team members (Pro 7, Premium 15). AkunIndo has 4 roles: Owner (full control), Admin (manages settings and invites), Manager (views and manages all expenses), and Employee (tracks their own expenses only). Perfect for small teams where multiple people need to track business expenses.

Is my financial data secure?

Security is our top priority. All data is encrypted both in transit (using HTTPS) and at rest (on our servers). Receipt images and expense data are stored on secure cloud infrastructure with bank-level encryption. Only you and your authorized team members can access your data. We never share your financial information with third parties.

How do I log in? Do I need a password?

AkunIndo uses passwordless authentication with email OTP (6-digit verification codes). Just enter your email, and we'll send you a secure verification code. No passwords to remember! It's faster and more secure.
